Pharmaceutico-Analytical Study of Mukhapakahara Arka

Arka kalpana is a unique pharmaceutical preparation in Ayurveda which the volatile oil and active principles of drug are collected by process distillation using yantra or any convenient modern apparatus. Mukhapakahara arka formulation mentioned prakasha sapthama shataka as Gandusha yoga to cure Mukhapaka. The ingredients Jatheepatra, Amruta, Draksha, Vasa, Darvi, Hareetaki, Vibheetaki Amalaki. Based on properties ingredients, possesses potent wound healing, anti- inflammatory hence could be beneficial conditions like Recurrent Aphthous Stomatitis. Being an kalpana, has many advantages terms palatability, shelf life user-friendly aspects. No previous works have been carried out arka.
